Town of Center Awarded Proposition 123 Local Planning Capacity Grant; Launches Affordable Housing Initiatives
Center, CO — May 27, 2025 — The Town of Center is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Proposition 123 Local Planning Capacity Grant through the Department of Local Affairs. This significant funding milestone will support the Town's strategic efforts to expand affordable housing opportunities and address community housing needs.
As part of this initiative, the Town of Center is actively seeking qualified respondents to several Requests for Proposals (RFPs) focused on planning, development, and implementation of affordable housing projects. These RFPs will outline opportunities for collaboration with planners, developers, and community stakeholders committed to creating sustainable and accessible housing solutions in Center.
The upcoming RFP opportunities will be posted on the Town of Center’s official website at https://townofcenter.colorado.gov/. Interested parties are encouraged to check regularly for updates and submission deadlines.
These efforts will align with and complement the Town's previously awarded More Housing Now grant. Funding from that grant will enable infrastructure development in the North 90 area, laying the groundwork for future residential projects.
